Paul Basagoitia, known as Bass, started riding when he was just eight years old. He entered his first bike competition without a sponsor and with a borrowed bike, but all his hard work paid off when he won the competition and ended up becoming a two-time Crankworx champion. Bass currently trains in Nevada and feels most motivated by watching other athletes who excel at their sports, which inspires him to bring that same energy to his mountain biking.
